Sacred Music Gathering / Kirtan 90 minutes
Jordan's unique kirtan sessions are genuinely moving experiences for the community with a focus on forgiveness, gratitude, and lovingkindness. Attendees will experience laughter, deep cleansing tears, and an organic feeling of interpersonal (and universal) connectedness.
Compassionate invocations gently open the heart. Rhythmic waves of call-and-response chanting uplift and unify. Tender moments of silence invite you to rest in your own essence, where separation dissolves and the ever-present Self is revealed.
Although we go very deep within the heart, this is perfectly balanced by a lighthearted and authentic approach which makes this accessible to total beginners and lifelong bhaktas alike. We will pray for those who have departed this world, those yet to come, our Mother Earth, our inner child, our ancestors, and one another.
The music incorporates Buddhist and Sanskrit mantras with personal stories from a decade touring alongside masters like Snatam Kaur, Deva Premal & Miten, Ajeet, Simrit, GuruGanesha, Adam Bauer, Ezra & Owen Landis, Joby Baker, and Salif Bamakora. It also reflects Jordan's time living at Arunachala (home of Ramana Maharshi), his long connection to Kripalu, and lighthearted insights from the spiritual path.
Dance Journey & Yoga Nidra - Sacred Embodiment 75 minutes
These powerful dance sessions are a rich opportunity to move our bodies in space and time on a journey through the cosmos. The sonic landscape incorporates indigenous rhythms from around the world, the sounds of nature, the sacred elements, jazz, classical, and the occasional nod to the spirit of classic rock and roll. Sprinkled throughout the journey are spoken word samples of spiritual greats, infusing every footstep with intention and joy.
These sessions are drug- and alcohol-free and foster safety, connection, and release.
The journey concludes with a 15-minute sound bath Savasana (lying down) to let go of tension, relax, and integrate the experience. Yoga Nidra guided meditation soothes the mind into a deep state of profound peace and happiness.
Evening Workshop - Being Happiness 60 minutes
During this 60-minute workshop we come together to explore what it truly means to be human. Exploring the golden thread that runs through all religions and scientific thought, we will zero in on the core components of human life and the nature of reality. Then we'll discover how to successfully navigate this world in a passionate, loving way, fully empowering us to lead a meaningful satisfying life full of service to others.
This session invites you to recognize the happiness already present within, releasing old burdens and stepping into an expanded state of consciousness. A gentle, reflective start to an evening of awakening and connection.
Bio
Jordan Loder is an international kirtan artist whose devotional chanting flows from raw vulnerability and heartfelt presence. Influenced deeply by Ramana Maharshi’s teachings—first felt in youth and later deepened through pilgrimage and extended residence near Arunachala—Jordan weaves ancient Hindu and Buddhist mantras centered on forgiveness, gratitude, and compassion.
Jordan’s concerts and retreats have graced stages worldwide, from festivals to yoga studios, fostering community through call-and-response chanting rooted in timeless bhakti traditions—expressed in a contemporary way that is all his own.
His approach is refreshing in its depth and sincerity: profound without pretense, free of spiritual titles or proclaimed powers, carried instead with quiet humility, gentle humor, and an effortless lightness of being. Everything is sacred, with no exceptions—his gatherings offer spaces for emotional release, deep laughter, and profound stillness, inviting all to rest in the ever-present Self.
He draws from extensive immersion in the global Kirtan community having toured with beloved artists like Snatam Kaur, Deva Premal & Miten, GuruGanesha, Simrit, Ajeet, The Landis Brothers, Hans Christian, Stephen Bross, Matt Pszonak, and Adam Bauer.
